Ann Guthrie Hingston

A leader of the successful 2016 Montgomery County term limits campaign, Ann Hingston is an active volunteer in the county Republican Party and Republican Women’s Federation. A resident of Bethesda for more than 25 years, she has represented Legislative District 16 on the Central Committee since 2013, and presently serves as LD-16 Chairman.

Ann retired from the Senior Executive Service after more than 30 years in state and federal government including serving on President Reagan’s White House staff and as an appointee of President George H.W. Bush and President George W. Bush. She helped establish and served as national program director of the Best Friends Foundation.

Ann is a graduate of Georgetown Visitation and holds a degree in public administration from Georgetown University.
