MichaelHiggsBy all accounts, the MCGOP’s “END ONE PARTY RULE RALLY” was a rousing success.  Our outstanding candidates were able to share their messages of freedom and prosperity with the crowd.  Party luminaries from across the state were in attendance, and of course our wonderful grassroots activists came out in force.  Very special thanks for all of the hard work that went into making this event wildly successful go out to Dwight Patel and Kat O’Connor.

Table reservations for our upcoming Lincoln Reagan Dinner are exceeding early expectations.  If you are part of a group or a club, please join together and secure your table now for the group discount.  I am also pleased to report that ad sales are ahead of the pace from previous years, and we are adding additional pages to the program to accommodate the demand.  That said, we have plenty of room for more advertisers and sponsors, so please help us reach out to businesses that are willing to stand up to support our drive for lower taxes, less regulation, and more jobs.

The previous issue of our newsletter highlighted the deeply flawed “Bathroom Bill” that was making its way thru Annapolis.  Our one-party dominated legislature rammed the bill through while allowing hardly any debate and no proposed amendments.  With a modicum of bipartisanship, the Left could have achieved 99% of its goals, and we would have walked away satisfied in our actions to protect our daughters and sisters.  The arrogance and corruption of absolute power however, has left us with no recourse but to fight.  Before the ink from O’Malley’s signature on this bill (then law) is dry, we need to gather enough signatures to place this issue on the ballot for the citizens of Maryland to decide.

In our continued efforts to bring you the best, most informative website possible, we are in the process of upgrading our calendar.  A hearty thank you is in order for our MCGOP Information Technology Committee and all of the work they do keep and maintain our first-class website.  As a reminder, if your club or group is hosting an event in Montgomery County, please let us know so we can help advertise.

Now, get out there and help us to END ONE PARTY RULE!
