The MCGOP is on a Roll!
A hearty thank you to all who attended or supported our annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on May 8. The event was a rousing success. The crown was large and enthusiastic, the food was delicious and the company was delightful. We were able to raise much needed funds and have a great time in the process. Governor Gilmore delivered an outstanding keynote address, and he could not have been more accommodating to our guests. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it such a special event.
I encourage all of you to take a look at our calendar of events and get involved. Every summer presents us with outstanding opportunities to engage with the public at the various fairs, festivals and parades across the county. Our events team is very organized and will make sure you have everything you need to be an effective ambassador for the Republican Party. So please find an event near you and come out to spend some time with your fellow party activists while educating the public about why you are a Republican and how our party offers a brighter future for Montgomery County.
Speaking of getting involved, the primaries offer another great opportunity to get in front of the public and show them that the Republican Party is not what they see on MSNBC or CNN, but a vibrant, freedom loving, educated group of compassionate individuals. We need you help to END ONE PARTY RULE, so we must take advantage of the early voting period.
I urge each one of you to contact your District Chair and ask how you can help with early voting. Each district is responsible for staffing a table at an early voting site, where we will supply candidate literature and issue handouts. We should take full advantage of every chance we get to press the flesh with the voting public, so please contact your District Chair and get involved! We will be posting links to the sign-up pages for the early voting sites on our website as well.
Now get out there and spread the word that the MCGOP is on a roll!
