We Love Our Volunteers!

We owe a great debt to our hearty volunteers for a wonderfully successful showing at the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. Each time I stopped by I was impressed with the positive energy and enthusiasm at our tent, which stood in stark contrast to the dour lot staffing the other party’s tent!

Our candidates were out in force, led by Jim Schalleck’s brave forays into the crowded midway. We handed
out reams of candidate literature and signed up dozens of potential new volunteers. A very special thanks goes out to Martha Schaerr for all of her hard work in organizing the nine-day event.

In the last issue I told you how important Montgomery County is to the Hogan for Governor campaign, and now they have put their money where their mouth is, so to speak. The Montgomery County Hogan Victory Center on Rockville Pike is now open and ready for business, and they have added two full-time coordinators. Never has it been easier for Montgomery County Republicans to volunteer their time and talents. Stop by for some impromptu phone banking; pick up a walk list and literature for door knocking; gather a bundle of yard signs and hunt down prime placement spots. Please take advantage of this amazing opportunity to help END ONE PARTY RULE by getting involved now. Every vote we can secure for Larry is a likely vote for Jim, Dan, Dave, Frank, Robin, Rose and the rest of our fabulous candidates.

Our Red, White & YOU Grassroots dinner is shaping up to be the highlight of the campaign season. Since I will unfortunately be out of town on business, I wanted to make sure you have a great host for the evening. I am thrilled to announce that the incomparable Larry O’Connor from WMAL’s Mornings on the Mall show will be our guest emcee. So get your tickets now to this “can’t miss” event featuring Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson and a cast of Maryland GOP all-stars! Then tell me all about the fun I missed out on while I was toiling away in Las Vegas. 😉
