A group of dedicated MCGOP volunteers definitely earned their stripes at a Memorial Day event this past weekend.

Hometown Holidays

A diverse crowd gathers at the MCGOP Booth to sign the term limits petition.

Events Coordinator Brad Botwin reported that 22 volunteers, including Congressional candidate Amie Hoeber, helped spread the GOP message on the first day of this year’s Hometown Holidays in Rockville. Participants’ enthusiasm during the two-day event yielded some impressive results: A total of 36 volunteers were successful in getting 26 GOP signups and 170 Term Limit Petition signatures at their booth, and Brigitta Mullican brought in another 40 for a grand total of 210 signatures!

Everyone was also pleased to see Congressional candidate Dan Cox and his wonderful family on the second day of the event.

The message is clear: More and more informed voters are ready to toss the “one party rule” crowd out of office in favor of some GOP leaders, who will place the interest of Montgomery County citizens over that of the current entrenched one-party politicians and their acolytes.

Congratulations to Brad and all the volunteers who were so effective in mobilizing public support for the GOP!
