A Fun Day at the Park!

Picnic with Your Candidates

Sunday, September 25
3-5 pm

Candy Cane Park, Meadowbrook Road, Rock Creek

Drive: From East West Highway turn onto Meadowbrook Road and drive to the end or
turn onto Beach Drive, go to next traffic light, park on the left, and walk across the bridge.

Walk:  Join the group wearing candidate t-shirts at 2 pm departing from Barnes and Noble and walk the Crescent Trail to Candy Cane Park (1.5 miles).

Eat: Variety of food will be served including hamburgers, chicken, all beef hotdogs, lots of side dishes, desserts, watermelon, and soft drinks.  Inside and outdoor seating.

At the door:
$10.00 a person
$15.00 a couple
$20.00 for a family

Hosted by volunteers residing in Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, and Silver Spring.  Not paid for or endorsed by any candidate, or any political or candidate committee.

Kathy Szeliga

Kathy Szeliga, U.S. Senate

As the highest ranking woman in the Maryland House of Delegates, as the Minority Whip, a business owner, and a grandmother, Kathy Szeliga is well acquainted with issues that affect the health and welfare of Maryland families and businesses. Kathy has represented the citizens of Baltimore County in Annapolis since 2010 and served on Capitol Hill as the chief of staff to a U.S. Congressman.  She is the founder and owner of a construction firm and a former elementary school teacher.

Dan Cox

Dan Cox, U.S. Congress, District 8

Dan Cox is an attorney with experience resolving traffic, housing, safety and environmental issues, as an elected Town Council President, small business owner, high school registrar and instructor, and litigator representing Maryland businesses and families. Dan grew up in Takoma Park, attended Mount St. Mary’s University, studied at College Park and Ft. Meade, and now resides with his family in Frederick County.
