Hi, my name is Margarete Fragoso. I am originally from Brazil. I was born in Rio de Janeiro many years ago. I came to the United States on January 1, 2006, to visit my sisters, and during my stay, I was offered an H-1B visa. On October 22, 2015, I became an American citizen.
It was not an easy process, but I believe it was worth it. When I decided to immigrate, I was already considered an older adult, both in Brazil and in the United States. Through determination, resilience, and focus, I was able to prove that it is never too late to pursue your dreams and achieve success.

Is the march of democracy heading toward the National Socialist Democrat Party? It might be. 

• It’s right here in Montgomery County,
• it’s coming soon to DC with a socialist Mayor,
• the same in New York City, Burbank California,  Seattle Washington,
• and Havana Cuba – the home of equity and poverty for all.

In Havana, Communist Cuban Castros made sure the National Socialist Democrat elite live well, while ensuring equity for their other citizens. It's like Animal Farm. All are equal - but some are more equal than others! The leaders are indeed more equal.

• Sometimes they live in Gracie Mansion
• In Venezuela they lived in Mansions with a safe room surrounded by Cuban bodyguards
• sometimes they are driven in government SUVs with bodyguards like MoCo
• sometimes they fly private planes to events excoriating private enterprise like Bernie and AOC

Yet they promise free government grocery stores, free buses, free public transportation, free health care, even free life ending care.

Your community needs your help! Please sign up to serve as an Election Judge (poll worker) and invite your family, friends, and community to join us. 

The Montgomery County Board of Elections is recruiting volunteers to serve as Election Judges (poll workers) for the upcoming Gubernatorial Primary Election. Opportunities are available both during Early Voting, which will be held from Thursday June 11 through Thursday June 18, and on Election Day, Tuesday, June 23, 2026. 

Our volunteers play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of elections for all voters. Election Judges receive a stipend for their service during Early Voting and/or on Election Day, and both full-day and part-day positions are available. If you served as a poll worker in the 2024 elections, you are eligible for a bonus of $100.00 per full day of Early Voting or Election Day service ($50 per half day served).

The Chevy Chase Women's Republican Club persuaded Katja Bullock to be their president two times. Katja worked in the White House under four Republican Presidents serving as Special Assistant to the President for Presidential Personnel. President George W. Bush detailed Katja to the Army in Iraq during the Iraq War. With great courage, Katja and Army staff recovered a fallen Lt. Colonel's body from their burning building during a raid. When the war ended and Katja returned to her duties at the White House, she received the gratitude of President Bush. Katja asked President Bush to spend time with the Lt. Colonel's widow, and he did. Katja received the Outstanding American by Choice Award, which recognizes naturalized U.S. citizens who have made exceptional contributions to the United States. To know and understand Katja it helps to know her father.
