Statement on Venezuela
Early Saturday morning I was alerted about the overthrow of the corrupt Maduro regime in Venezuela.
Much like President George H. W. Bush dealt with the corrupt Panamanian leadership, Trump is bringing indicted members of the Maduro regime here for prosecution.
Of course this is a National/international story but many of us in Montgomery County, even family of our own leadership, have been touched by drugs, death and criminality from the Venezuelan and Mexican cartels.

ACTION NEEDED MARYLAND HEALTH CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK
The new recommended Family Life framework for Maryland removes references to gender in grades Pre-K through 4. They have recommended teaching those concepts in grades 5-12.
If you agree that introducing these concepts should be up to the parents, and that the concepts of "sex assigned at birth" or "gender identity" are not based in science, please click the link below to comment. The state board will be reviewing the comments to make a decision on the final draft of this framework. Please be specific and ask that lessons on gender identity and sexual orientation be removed from all grades, Pre-K through 12.

I've just heard that the top contender for DC Mayor is a Socialist Democrat. She has the most money, the most support and is the front runner in the polls.
Do you think she'll join New York Mayor Mamdani and MoCo Executive Marc Elrich and MoCo Congressman Jamie Raskin as the Socialist Democrat faces of the Democrat Party? It sure looks like it. Meantime the Republicans are experiencing a surge, and who it is is surprising a lot of folks.

Former Democrats Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump
Seems folks are flocking to the Republican Party. Former Democrats, folks 30 and younger, young men, black men, folks with newfound religious convictions, legal immigrants who've become American citizens, Hispanic and Asian American - all the folks who the press uses hyphens to describe are reregistering as Republicans. Yes, even here in Montgomery County, long thought to be the Left of the Left. And we welcome them.
Please help us make Montgomery County politics more rational, less doctrinaire and more normal. Here's how you can change your Party registration, just go HERE.
And there's more...
