Yes, we’re feeling Hot, Hot, Hot!
But August is almost over.
September and October are our important months…the November election is SO IMPORTANT. Even if folks didn’t vote two years ago they need to vote in the mid-terms. The chance that far-left candidates from the so-called "Democrat Socialists" will be elected is very real and very bad for our democracy.
Raise taxes, foment hatred and violence, impeach, impeach, impeach…perhaps even property confiscation and open borders – nothing’s impossible. You’ve seen it so many places, especially if you’re an immigrant.
As the Republican local party, we advocate voting by any means possible. Even though we want the SAVE Act and one day voting by legal citizens with ID, it doesn’t look like that will happen in time, and we NEED to compete. And we will.
Encourage folks to sign up to vote by mail if there's ANY chance they won't be able to vote in person. (Yes, they might get multiple ballots from Maryland again…we’ll deal with that like we did in the Primary.) Republicans like to vote in person on election day- I get it, I understand that…but we need to play the hand we’re dealt here in one-party Maryland and compete on their own turf. I know we can do it.
For every 7 registered voters in MoCo only 1 is a registered Republican
You’d be surprised at the number of Democrat supporters we have…(and some detractors on the readers' list too!) The comments we get are full of support to end one-party rule. Thank you, yes, many of us agree on the main issues. Please remember that for every 7 registered voters in MoCo, only 1 is a registered Republican. We need our allies to support normal candidates - not extremists.
Don't Let it Happen Here!
Yep, so many great Americans who've legally immigrated here to help build a great country say the same thing. It's like we're two Americas. People from:
- Communist China
- Nicaragua
- Cuba
- Haiti
- Afghanistan
- Russia
- Iran
- Venezuela
- Iran
...and many many more. "Don't let it happen here," they plead. We won't. We'll hold out 'til sense and normalcy returns.
So enjoy the Labor Day holiday with friends and family and get ready for an important Autumn election. We can stop the radical socialists together, and we will.
