I wish I had a dime for every time that I’ve heard a career politician say, “When I’m elected, the Government will bring jobs to Montgomery County.”
That type of statement from the political elite shows a basic misunderstanding of how jobs are actually created.
“Government doesn’t create jobs - Businesses do.”
Government must create an environment where businesses want to invest, grow, hire, and stay. That means lower taxes, responsive leadership, responsible planning, and leaders who actually understand what business owners face every single day.
I’m not speaking from theory. I’ve owned a business in Montgomery County for more than 30 years. I know what it takes to start a business, grow a business and make tough decisions.
Montgomery County doesn’t need more political promises. We need proven leadership that understands that jobs come from supporting the people and businesses that create them.
The political class does not understand that money has feet and will leave if not supported.
