Calling All Volunteers

An unprecedented twelve new volunteers participated in the March 2021 MCGOP Volunteer Orientation.

"We've never seen numbers this big - even before the Pandemic!," said long-time presenter Dan Cuda from LD15.

MCGOP leadership has doubled down on its commitment to the monthly orientation with a new, easy-to-use RSVP button on the MCGOP website for new volunteers. "We know actively getting involved is a big step for many,"  says Dan.  "People want to know what they're getting into and get an introduction to the basics of the political process."

The orientation introduces them to local politics in Montgomery County and Maryland,  the confusing set of political districts and offices,  and finally the organization of the county, state, and national Republican Party.  Finally they learn the basic tools available to help them identify Republicans in their neighborhood and community.   Orientations are scheduled on the MCGOP website for the first Saturday of every month except for three-day holiday weekends when they are delayed a week.

Orientation is usually the first Saturday of each month. Volunteer HERE.
