Last week, Montgomery County’s radical, hyper-partisan County Executive Marc Elrich got on a Zoom call with his friends from across Maryland so they could pat themselves on the back for their over-bearing LOCKDOWN regulations that have DESTROYED economic opportunity for many of the hard-working people and businesses of Montgomery County.

As if closing our county for business wasn’t enough, Marc Elrich has

declared by decree that you and your family are not allowed to enjoy the holidays this year. It seems the tattletale hotline that he rolled out to intimidate you and your family during Thanksgiving Dinner will be making a comeback during Christmas. “Please snitch on your neighbors” will be the law of the land.

Tomorrow, it is expected that the one-party Montgomery County Council will approve Marc Elrich’s new executive order to SHUT DOWN all indoor dining and further RESTRICT retail capacity. Even Muriel Bowser’s Washington, DC has less extreme restrictions than Elrich is proposing.

We cannot allow Marc Elrich to continue on this DESTRUCTIVE path unchecked when he runs for re-election in 2 years. Our party must begin raising funds NOW if we want to deny Marc Elrich another four-year term to continue prioritizing politics over people’s livelihoods. Here’s what the first two years have brought:

• Banning “Thin Blue Line” flags in county and police offices
• Moves toward defunding the police
• Unwarranted business shutdowns instead of common sense COVID-19 protections
• Caving to the unions and special interests, banning in-person public education

We know these are very difficult times but if you can, please consider chipping in $10, $25, $50, or any amount to make sure your voice is heard in Montgomery County.

People are feeling the pain of Marc Elrich’s partisan agenda and if we allow him another four years, our county economy might never recover. The educated people of Montgomery County know how to be COVID safe and do not need heavy-handed edicts to make the right decisions for their families.
