Remarks of Donald J. Trump, at the Al Smith Dinner, New York City,  October 17th, 2024

“Instead of attending tonight, Kamala’s in Michigan receiving Communion from Gretchen Whitmer.”
Joe Biden has almost disappeared from view, the only way he could be seen less is if he had a show on CNN.”
“Chuck Schumer is here, looking very glum... but look on the bright side, Chuck: considering how ‘woke’ your party has become, if Kamala loses you still have the chance to become the first woman president.”

CBO Confirms:
Biden-Harris Thrifty Food Plan Defied Congressional Intent and Reduced Labor Force Participation

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released its analysis of the impact the Biden-Harris Administration’s unilateral expansion of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) has had on labor force participation. Based on CBO’s estimates, the TFP increase ($300 billion over the next decade) likely lowered the work effort of those receiving benefits. Studies show lower labor force participation results in lower economic growth and delivering federal revenue. [Since taking office, President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have signed 142 executive orders costing American taxpayers an additional $2 trillion over ten years.

The Kamala Notebook

The Vice President during an interview with Fox’s Bret Baier, says that one of the first actions the administration took was to send a bill to Congress to make the border secure, reform the immigration system, and that would have resolved the immigration crisis but Congress didn't take any action.

So, she also finally admitted the border was not secure despite dozens of subsequent contradictory statements by the head of US Homeland Security that the border was secure---so who needs new legislation!!?/

Harris also said the border was not secure even before the Trump administration and implicitly not during the Trump administration either. If that is the case, why then did the administration stop all deportations by executive order, as well as reverse the Trump policy of “Stay in Mexico” policy, which then allowed illegal aliens to stay in the USA, many of which went on to commit heinous violent crimes. In fact, there were numerous key executive actions taken by the Biden/Harris administration that reversed Trump policies—policies under Trump which critics claimed were anti-immigrant and had in fact closed the border largely to illegal immigration!!

In short, and this was missed by Brett B of Fox: the Biden/Harris unilateral executive actions in 2021 opened up the border as they said all of Trump's policies they reversed were anti-immigrant.

But then their proposed legislation which they claim is necessary was designed to do the opposite, i.e., make the border secure.

Now when Trump made the border secure, such a policy was mean spirited, which the executive orders reversed.

But if despite Biden's executive actions the border was still secure,  why do you need new legislation to fix it?

And if the border was not secure, why did the administration constantly claim the border was in fact secure?
