Small business confidence levels in the future has fallen to the lowest level in 12 years especially among women owned business. The 1^st Quarter GDP numbers came in at 1.4% down from 3-4% growth in the 3^rd and 4^th quarters of 2023.

According to The Washington Times the Sinaloa drug cartel in Mexico has had two decades of relations with Chinese organized crime and according to Brookings Institution Senior Fellow Vanda Felbab-Brown, who asserts the Chinese crime syndicates are responsible for fentanyl manufacture that leads to over 100,000 opioid overdose deaths annually in the United States. Since January 1, 2024, the Biden Administration has proposed some new rule making, primarily calling on zero emissions for the truck hauling and transportation sector, with an estimated new cost over the next 20 years of $926 billion. When all rule making of the Administration is included, the costs exceed $1.3 trillion a fourfold increase from the Obama administration’s eight years and some 2100% more than the Trump administration’s 4 years.
