I Am Not A Feminist

By Jackie Sackstein

I am NOT a feminist. That does not mean that I think women should be paid less than men or always be in the kitchen, barefoot and pregnant.

Quite the opposite. In fact, I am a success-driven woman with lofty career aspirations. What makes me say I am not a feminist is what the vagina-hat wearing left has warped that term to mean.

Feminism should not be the ridicule of anyone with male anatomy. It should not be the eradication of due process in the name of “believing all women.” Feminism SHOULD be about empowering women without demonizing men. It seems like the left is not able to have one without the other.

This is resulting in a generation of men who are afraid to speak to women. Gone are the days when a man would approach a woman in person to tell her that she looks pretty for fear of being slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit. Men have to walk on eggshells to avoid anything that could be even slightly twisted to become offensive. I don’t know about you ladies, but this is putting a real damper on my dating life. I want to find a man...not a person who has become too beaten down by the PC mentality to show an ounce of masculinity.

I have been labeled a sexist by some because of my stance on this issue, but to me the real sexism is what the left is doing to men. I can only hope that something changes before all men become gender-neutral Ken dolls.
