Mail In Ballots
The Maryland Primary
So if our world has been turned upside down by the COVID-19 virus why should our elections be any different? Governor Larry Hogan has re-scheduled the 2020 primary election for Tuesday, June 2.
Because of the Maryland emergency declaration and public health risks associated with personal proximity, this election will be mail-in. The Board of Elections has stated that all eligible voters will be mailed a ballot.
If you're not sure you're registered and eligible to receive a ballot contact the Board of Elections click here. Presently in Maryland anyone may vote by mail, although the term we use is Absentee Balloting. No reason need be given. You may want to request a ballot now, if so click here to download the request form to mail in. Even better you can completely fill out the ballot request form online by clicking here (saves you the postage). This site is also a voter registration and mail-in/absentee ballot request form all-in one.
