Montgomery County suffers a beat down. *

Police have released a shocking video of the beat down of Montgomery County. They urge anyone with information to run, do not walk, to your nearest polling place and cast your vote to throw the alleged perpetrators out of office.
This video (14:36) shows the passage of the 2027 Operating Budget by the Montgomery County Council, with a 9-2 vote in favor. Approved was a $7.9 Billion – with a “B” - operating budget and $6.3 billion six-year capital improvements program for the coming fiscal year. Witnesses report the use of one-time revenues for ongoing expenses, and a projected structural deficit of approximately $293 million. The victim is hospitalized and is listed in “unstable condition.”
The usual suspects vote for a 7.9 Billion operating budget.
The alleged perpetrators voting for that much stinkin’ money being spent, Natali Fani-González, Marilyn Balcombe, Sidney Katz, Kate Stewart, Kristin Mink, Evan Glass, Shebra Evans, Will Jawando, and Laurie-Anne Sayles, said that they really hated to but, gee whiz, if they didn’t pass it then they would have to actually manage the spending, and that would be a lot of work.
Sidney Katz was term-limited out, and Shebra Evans isn’t running. Police warn that the rest are on the loose and are considered incompetent and delusional.
The two no votes came from Andrew Friedson and Dawn Luedtke. Friedson said that while he voted for FY2025 and FY2026 budgets which also had structural deficit issues, he couldn’t bring himself to do it while he is running for County Executive, especially when his own district voters have it in for him.
To show that she was down with the cause, in her first term Luedtke fought to ensure local law enforcement would not cooperate with ICE, That was looked upon favorably by the bosses of her political party. So she felt free to take the moral high ground while running for re-election to the District 7 Council seat.
Also sought is Kingpin Marc “Big Daddy” Elrich, who has taken great pride in having absolutely no clue about budgeting stuff. During a County Executive Candidate Forum in 2022 (0:29), Big Daddy said, “In Montgomery County we have absolutely no idea when anything in the master plan will be built because we have no idea what the cashflow needs to be or how we are going to get the cashflow to make those projects possible.” Yes, he didn’t know where the money was coming from or where it was going. But wasn’t it his job to find out?

Having “won” his last election by trouncing his opponent with an impressive 32 votes, Big Daddy is running yet again. He was last seen at an Early Voting site dissing some of his constituents as he has done in the past.
The public is cautioned to avoid these alleged perpetrators, who have been known to increase your taxes repeatedly. If you see them, be polite, but know that they are just trying to stay in power. They want your vote so they can take your money.
