University Blvd. Corridor Plan Sectional Map Amendment - SMA

RESCHEDULED TO SEPTEMBER 15, 2026

Why does this still matter? Because the County still has to change the official zoning map. This is your chance to stay on the record, speak up about how these changes will affect your homes, streets, schools, parking, taxes, and neighborhood stability.

Even when a plan has passed, residents still need to show up. If you are not there, the County moves forward without hearing from the people most affected.

University Boulevard Rezoning: What It Means and Why You Should Pay Attention

The University Boulevard Corridor Plan has already been approved. Now comes the next step: Sectional Map Amendment H-161, also called SMA H-161. That may sound technical, but it matters. The SMA is the process used to put the plan’s zoning recommendations onto the official County zoning map. If SMA H-161 is approved, the zoning map for affected properties will change.
