The Postal Service is proposing to amend the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), regarding the transmission of mail-in or absentee ballots for federal elections pursuant to its rulemaking authority.

 Please consider providing your comment in favor of this new, very important USPS requirement!

 This new law would come very close to cleaning up our mail in lists! So everyone understands what this new law will do:

1.    The State Board will be required to send their official voter registration MAIL IN database to the USPS for full review.

2.    The USPS will run these registrations against Social security and REMOVE al voters who do not meet eligibility requirements

 This is HUGE as it would take care of the mail in lists duplicates, deceased, and otherwise ineligible voters.

 RE: 39 CFR Part 111

 Applying uniform standards for the mailing of absentee (mail-in) ballots to and from voters is a phenomenal idea and a great way to facilitate Federal law. Mail In voting became popular during Covid but was implemented differently by each state and almost all with emergency legislation. This proved to be not only unsuccessful requiring numerous rewritings of election laws but has severely damaged the chain of custody of ballots. Having full lists of voters for the mail in ballots will restore some validity to this chain of custody. I applaud this voter integrity process. This should also help stop the mailing of duplicate ballots and really help with voter roll list maintenance. Thank you for making a real effort to help with law enforcement efforts while preserving the autonomy of state boards of elections. 

 PS: Thank you for the extraordinary measures that the post office currently does with election mail.
