The Montgomery County Public Schools have a problem with violence and unfortunately, it’s just a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or killed. Montgomery Perspective reports, “During the 2023–2024 school year, there were a total of 4,424 incidents reported through Synergy, the student information system. Of the reported incidents, 726 (16%) were classified as critical, having the potential to impact student safety and security. Such events were classified within categories such as knives or other weapons, false alarms or bomb threats, fighting or attacks on students or adults, drug-related issues, and trespassing.”  Marc Elrich’s bad policies have affected our children’s safety. Fox5DC reported: “County Executive Marc Elrich essentially ended the SRO program by pulling funding for it in the FY22 budget in March 2015.” Serious changes need to be made, including returning the Student Resource Officers (SRO) to our schools and piloting a metal detector program.

Scott Rasmussen says in his latest polling, Harris has been at 49% twice, 47% once and 51% once, while  Trump has been at 49% three times and 48% once. Trafalgar says the poll numbers are moving in the direction of Trump, especially in the swing states with the exception of Georgia where Trump is down by 0.4%.

The date, time and location for the five in-person listening sessions are listed below. Please sign up to attend by the deadline listed for each listening session. Additionally, a virtual listening session is available for those who cannot attend one of the in-person meetings. If you require sign language interpreters or interpretation assistance, please sign up at least seven days prior to the date of the listening session, to provide adequate time to meet the request.

Enjoy the day with friends and family, the end of summer is here before you know it.

But remember, our National, State and local governments desperately need a change in leadership. Single party government hasn't served us well. Folks are demonstrating at School Boards and being ignored or insulted. Illegal immigration is exhausting BLUE cities the way it's targeted RED cities and states for years. You can't afford higher taxes, higher prices and increased energy costs.

You see a decline in public safety, a decline in reading and math scores, a decline in civility on both sides that makes it harder to recover from inflation, international upheaval and domestic unrest.

With an Important election right around the corner we need to focus and work for the best candidates who will work for America.

Its Labor Day. Lets go to work!
