WE REMEMBER

I join you in a pause to remember:

September 10th just one year since the assassination of Charlie Kirk - felled by a bullet in front of a college crowd of thousands. He left a grieving wife and children, and perplexed supporters and others wondering why life has become so cheap and political violence so easily justified.

Again, on September 11th we remember when close to 3,000 people, mostly Americans but women and men of all colors, creeds, genders and religions were murdered. It was twenty five years ago in New York City, Pennsylvania and Washington DC. May God have mercy on their souls.

Today there are so many Americans who were born after that tragedy. A new generation facing their own issues of life who'll have their own choices to make, tragedies to overcome and great achievements to look forward to. I know they'll do the right thing - Americans do that.

WE'LL SEE YOU IN COURT!

That’s what moderates, conservatives, independants…normal folks - are saying to the State and County social movements…and with good reason.

In Maryland, the socialist Democrats passed a bill in special session to get rid of the remaining Republican representing MD in Congress, disenfranchising 40% of the voters in Maryland. Since they have the super majority, they just did it – damned the rules and procedures – and want to put it on this November’s ballot. We’re fighting that…and so far winning.

The final step is the Maryland Supreme Court – a majority of whom were appointed by Governor Larry Hogan. Two other courts have already said NO. Let’s hope for the best, for common sense and wisdom to prevail.

DO WE NEED JUDGE JUDY OR JUDGE JEANINE TO STEP IN?

Locally the STOP THE SPEND committee forwarded 14,074 petition signatures on a petition to stop reckless super-inflationary spending unless ALL the Montgomery County Councilmembers agreed. The Board of Elections only counted 9,698, and the citizens committee disputes that – they’ve found plenty of others they feel should be counted to get it over the threshold so the voters can decide in November. Again, pass it on to the judiciary.

A wise move on both counts. Sometimes judges have the wisdom of Solomon …sometimes not, but they always have the last word. 

The brilliance of our system is so many branches of government checking each other. It’s also one that the National Socialist Democrats want to tear down.

Star Fleet Command had decided to put their best personnel on the case, the crew of the USS Enterprise. Its captain and crew had proven to be adept at infiltrating a society to forecast its future, and if possible, nudge it in the right direction. The mission for Captain James T. Kirk, First Officer Spock and Dr. Leonard McCoy was to visit Montgomery County, MD, assess the inhabitants and prevent its collapse.

Kirk: “Spock, what’s the story on MoCo? How bad is it?”

Spock: “Captain, there are a lot of things wrong. During the last eight years, Montgomery County’s economy has spiraled out of control. They are spending more than they take in and have a $293 Million structural deficit.”

Kirk: “How could this happen? Gentlemen, the first thing we need to do is get an audience with their local government.”

Spock: “Yes, Captain. I have contacted the County Executive, the county council, and the school board. Most of them are actually running for re-election. They think we want to contribute to their campaigns. And Captain?”

Kirk: “Yes Spock?”

Spock: “My Vulcan instincts tell me that none of them are to be trusted.”

I am firm believer it starts with returning Americanism, history and social studies/civics back in school like I had. If you do not know what has happened in past history you are uneducated to the perils of repeating a horrible idea. If it is not taught you can not blame the kids. Get the Union commies out of our education system and get back to what works and what is right. Education is the key!
