Well, you've surprised me.
I've always known a lot of non-affiliated, independent and Democrat voters read our newsletter. After every issue we get quite a few comments (agreeing, arguing - mostly just venting) but all glad they’re hearing a second point of view. Comments from many non-republicans have been trending.
Thanks for all the comments.
- You’re tired of high taxes.
- You’re tired of one-party government.
- You’re tired of promises never delivered upon.
What do I want you to do? I’d like you to make a different choice. I’d like you to get some diversity of thought, some new ideas and stop the party line voting time, after time, after time.
Look at our candidates – we have great ones.
A woman who's a CPA, hard working mother, a professional and community leader running for County Executive.
A man who's a successful businessman, great communicator, super educated in MoCo and the University of Maryland, community advocate running for County Council.
Superb, energetic candidates who are not infected with the Socialist virus
Many great candidates, hard workers and men and women dedicated to actually holding the line on the never ending tax increases and useless statutes after regulations that one party rule brings (seems like more every year.)
And let's be frank, they're more conservative, with traditional values. Heck, most are former Democrats, most are legal American citizens who started out as immigrants whose families came here because they loved and admired America and wanted to help build it even better. And they’ve been successful at it.
Look at our candidates. Yes, you can pick and choose. You don’t have to go one-party straight down the line. Politics is better with discussion, without single, party line votes on 95% of every issue. As a county native I remember when we had multi-party legislatures – with folks voting on issues according to what each felt was best for their constituents – not just for their political party.
We have superb, energetic candidates who are not infected with the Socialist virus, want to return to normalcy, prosperity and stop taxing you into the poor house. Stay tuned for a positive change in November.
