Upper Montgomery Republican Women’s Club

Several members of the Upper Montgomery Republican Women’s Club attended a showing of the movie Melania at the AMC Montgomery Mall Theatre in Bethesda, Maryland. We also encountered other club members from Chevy Chase who were attending later showings, while additional members saw the film at different theaters and times.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the movie, which focuses on the twenty days leading up to the 2025 presidential inauguration and follows Melania Trump as she navigates the complexities of the White House transition while preparing to become First Lady once again. The film portrays Melania as someone who strives for perfection, cares deeply about children, and loves America.

UMRWC member Louise Cox suggested that our group attend the movie as a fun club event, and we all agreed that Melania is the epitome of elegance and grace. She is a great mother, proud to be an American, and cares deeply about children around the world.

CCWRC member Martine Baker commented, “Melania is elegant, sophisticated, and very calm under pressure.  Brigitta especially enjoyed seeing the White House and Mar-a-Lago staff pose for a group photo and was impressed by how Melania and Donald Trump thanked them for their service.

PWRC President, Karin Walker, and 2nd VP, Cynthia Wilson, attended the Premier Screening of Melania at the Trump-Kennedy Center on January 29th. A wonderful Melania swag bag including popcorn & her book was given to attendees.
