Robin Ficker for Montgomery County Executive Releases First Campaign Video

Boyds, MD – Robin Ficker, independent Republican nominee for Montgomery County Executive, released his first campaign video this week entitled "This Is Our Election." The video highlights his achievements as a lifetime resident of Montgomery County, including a 2008 property tax charter amendment and a 2016 charter amendment, which placed term limits on the County Council and County Executive.

Robin is looking forward to running a spirited campaign focused on the issues facing our county. He has released the following statement regarding the video: “For my entire life, I have been an advocate for the people of Montgomery County. For the past 12 years, our county has gotten less safe, our schools have declined, and job growth has been hindered by a lack of investment in our transportation infrastructure. It is time for a real change in Montgomery County government, and I am prepared to bring that change as the next County Executive.”

In addition to his many other accomplishments, Attorney Robin Ficker represented Montgomery County in the House of Delegates from 1979-1983.
