Stop the Hate

Our experiences working the in-person voting last week were eye-opening. Higher turnout than we expected – which is good. Mostly good, respectful conversations…but a few heated and hateful conversations with far-left advocates for candidates on the other side. Respectful debate is helpful, hate speech is not.

Just yesterday Democrat Congresswoman Haley Stevens – the primary opponent of the winning Democrat candidate – came out to endorse Rogers over Abdulrahman El-Sayed, because El-Sayed, a socialist Democrat, refused to denounce the hate speech and antisemitism in Ad money and programing supporting his candidacy.

The polls may be wrong, the media may be wrong, my gut may be right. If we can get moderate and normal voters from BOTH Parties out to the polls, we’ll be able to return another two-years of recovery to reason to the United States.

I got a lot of push back last week when I encouraged folks to vote for the BEST candidates, either Republican or Democrat, and disclosed that even I had already voted for a few good Democrats (mostly Republicans…but not in every race).

Is your experience that most hate speech is coming from the Republicans or the Democrats? Heck, we get death threats at GOP Headquarters; we get intimidation and hate speech on the campaign trail. We stand up against it, and if hate speech and antisemitism is coming from ANY of our candidates or members, we shut it down immediately. Do you think the Democrats do that?

Tell me how you think the election will turn out. Most of the media and pundits think it’ll go all to the Democrats.  I do not.  What’s your opinion. Write me at [email protected]. …and do it before Wednesday night. They’ll be counting all night but we should know by Thursday at least. I can’t wait to hear from you.
