Wreaths Across America in Darnestown & Beallesville

Please join us this coming Saturday, December 17th to attend the Wreaths Across America ceremony, a patriotic holiday tradition to honor our fallen who fought for our freedom. This year the Rural Women’s Republican club donated wreaths to place on the graves at Monocacy Cemetery, 19801 West Hunter Road, Beallsville, MD 20879. The Monocacy Cemetery, which dates back to 1747, is a new location for Wreaths Across America, and is more convenient for those living up county.
 
Also, another convenient location is Darnestown Presbyterian Church, 15120 Turkey Foot Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, which Upper Montgomery has donated 5 wreaths. The ceremonies begin at 12 noon—please plan to arrive around 11:30 at your chosen location to park and meet those attending.  Everyone is invited to attend.
