I am a life-long MoCo republican -- and so are many of my peers.
I am about to retire and my first action will be to move to Florida.
This is also the plan of many my peers.
The MoCo democrats are dominate and bullies.
The MoCo republicans are feckless and old (Robin Ficker is the perfect example).
I made my millions and taking them to a place where my work ethic is valued.
Good luck, but the situation is hopeless... "when you are beating your hand with a hammer,
it feels good to stop"

Denis Melby, We need a merry little government one that gets out of the way of a big beautiful economy that makes Americans grownup adult rugged individualists who create and accumulate the wealth we need to watch over and care for ourselves thtu working for, owning, investing in businesses that provide services, produce goods made afforabke thru market forces not regulations instead of being benefit babies watched over and cared for by a warm collective cradle to grave social welfare state that creates affordability thru regulations. MAGA capitalism trumps BBB socialism in making America great and affordable for all.

Well Dennis your plea is heard but it’s a bit too late. After growing up in MoCo, the only place she has lived and my own 35 years of residency ___ and I have left MoCo in favor of Delaware! The politics are not much different after all I’m now represented in Congress by Sara McBride (a different politician-Goggle it) but the tax structure is more tolerable. Keep up the good work of the MoCo GOP !

Learned Helplessness
Hi Dennis, Just heard this term as what the democrats want the men to be this way.
This is a reason why dems lost young men. Young men like being warriors. Maybe places like gun ranges is a good place to target. Maybe we need a way to get to the young men also. And there is a small growing desire for women to be trad wives with the young people. The feminist angle seems difficult to crack especially in this area where even the older white women want to be like men and have suicide compassion.
