This video presentation is frightening but needs to be viewed by every Marylander. The guest speakers are top experts on the drug menace to this country including marijuana. And the role of China. As you know 109,000 Americans die from drug overdoses each year, and it’s connected to the massive illegal immigration on our southern border, including 40,000 young men of military age from China. The Chinese organized crime gang are Triads and they are selling vast amounts of drugs in the USA.

Marijuana farms run by Chinese organized crime is adding chemicals to the weed to produce psychosis in children. Also, fentanyl is being used to lace other drugs to increase potency and also to destroy communities. This video explains how China is using the open southern border to accomplish its objective which is to bring down the US and in part do it through going after our children with these drugs, especially marijuana.

California Dreaming What the Golden State Messed Up

Mass Exodus – Blue States Lose 5 Million People in Largest U.S. Migration Wave ©Editorial credit: Perry McLeod / Shutterstock.

Economist Stephen Moore recently revealed in an interview shocking numbers surrounding “Blue State Dysphoria,” describing it as the most substantial mass migration in US history. The phenomenon is triggered by policies aiming to tax the rich, leading to a significant departure from states like California, New York, and Illinois. Victor Davis Hanson explains that those who have left California often contact him and say how free they feel having left.

Deja Vu

By Brad Botwin

I am always amazed how the quotes of Yankee Hall of Famer Yogi Berra continue to be relevant decades after they were enshrined in American Folklore.  Take the quote, “It’s like déjà vu all over again”.  Nothing more accurately captured the theme of MoCo’s April 30 Jeremiah Park Community input session (regarding the future use of county property off Crabbs Branch Way in Derwood.  Valuable county property walking distance from the Shady Grove Red Line Metro Station.

DEMOCRAT OUTRAGE / REPUBLICAN HUMOR

Why it's funny to Republicans? We don't care if you have a man purse, we don't care if you have a man bun, we don't care if you have an electric car. Freedom good. Just don't make us get one if we don't want one. Freedom good!

PARROTT MEETS WITH REPUBLICANS

Republican Congressional nominee Neil Parrott met with Montgomery County Republican leadership in June to discuss his plans for representing the sixth Congressional District in Washington, D.C.

THE TRUMP VERDICT

I am shocked and ashamed of this partisan New York City trial where the Judge and prosecutors pushed so hard for a conviction of former President Trump so Joe Biden could use it in his re-election bid.

We stand with President Trump in continuing the effort to get our Country back from this long nightmare, and we will succeed.

My prayers for Trump and his family, and our hard work to right the ship will continue. I’m glad we all stand together. You give me hope. I can feel the change coming.

What, Me Worry?

By Lori Jaffe

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich stands fearlessly in the face of potential cyber threats and terrorism. But is he really fearless, or just an older version of Alfred E. Neuman, the Mad magazine character known for the phrase, "What, me worry?" Elrich has been traveling around the world welcoming a variety of countries to come on over and burrow into our homeland. All are welcome. This blind allegiance to the Left’s agenda must stop if we are to keep what’s left of our sovereignty. You can help the Committee for Better Government limit Marc Elrich to two terms, but you must act soon. Ten thousand valid signatures must be gathered by August 2024. (See below).

As Clean Slate MoCo reports, “Four years ago, Elrich claimed he wanted to improve the reputation of the county among businesses. Now he’s all the way in China trying to recruit.” Yes, Elrich has been (13:45) talking with countries, including China, which is controlled by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Countries like China may want to come here for, well you know, bioscience opportunities. According to CNN, “There have also been longstanding concerns from the international community about China’s use of genetic data in policing – especially after reports that authorities were collecting DNA samples and other biometric data from millions of residents in the far-west region of Xinjiang, home to the Muslim Uyghur community and other ethnic minorities. China has long faced accusations of human rights violations in Xinjiang, which it has repeatedly denied.” (12:00) A Uyghur father watching his daughter, from whom he has been separated by the CCP, says “What kind of country does this to innocent people?”

CALIFORNIA DREAM’IN

How One Obvious Mistake Created California’s Budget Crisis

by Lee Ohanian via California on Your Mind

California’s budget went from an assumed $98 billion surplus, in which there was so much cash in state coffers that Gov. Gavin Newsom was giving away $50,000 to randomly selected individuals to get a COVID-19 vaccine, to a projected $73 billion deficit in only about two years. As a result, voters in California are trying to get a measure on the ballot that would require citizen approval for state and local government to raise taxes or fees. Governor Newsom has sued to remove the ballot initiative.

CALIFORNIA’S LOOMING
CRIME CATASTROPHE

City Journal

In April 2023, a California judge threw out the life-without-parole sentences handed down to three gang members convicted of murder -- because of their race. The judge did not find specific flaws in the handling of their cases but ruled that their sentences should be invalidated because allegedly race-based sentencing disparities had occurred in the past in Contra Costa County. Heather Mac Donald reports that Golden State residents should brace for more such rulings:

The Racial Justice Act, passed in 2020 without meaningful public review, turns long-standing academic tropes about implicit bias and white privilege into potent legal tools. And the floodgates are about to open. Starting this year, the RJA allows anyone serving time in a California prison or jail for a felony to challenge retroactively his conviction and sentencing on the ground of systemic racial bias. The Racial Justice Act operationalizes the proposition that every aspect of the criminal-justice system is biased against blacks. But according to the act’s legislative authors, it’s too hard to prove such bias in the case of individual arrests and prosecutions. Therefore, the act does away with the concept of individual fault and individual proof. From now on, statistics about past convictions are sufficient to invalidate a present trial or sentence.

US Government and Chinese Communist Party Enforce the Narrative

General Rob Spaulding spoke at a Peter Huessy/NIDS nuclear seminar this past week and explained that the CCP completely controls the information space in China. The narratives of the day are established by the Communist Party and no disinformation is allowed. The General also said that China has a huge financial stake in hedge funds in the USA that also own a significant portion of the five largest media conglomerates in the USA and thus from issues like Tik Tok to the World Trade Organization, to CFIUS, to the border, China has a huge impact on how the issues are debated in Washington.

This excellent podcast (link below) by Victor Davis Hanson expands this discussion by explaining the US government now also—just like the CCP-- seeks to enforce a specific narrative on CV-19, on energy, on crime, on foreign policy and on taxes, and threatens legal action against those who do not follow the government line and who produce what is described as misinformation or disinformation. As Hanson notes, this is contrary to our constitutional principles. See https://victorhanson.com/the-genesis-of-protests-pandemics-and-good-journalism/
