On Juneteenth We Thank Republicans

This Friday we celebrate the great Republican holiday of Juneteenth.

Our party was founded to put an end once and for all to racial slavery in the United States. We were opposed at every turn by the Democrats and ended up in the depths of a horrible civil war, costing more American lives than any other conflict, but we prevailed. I'm proud of what we did - and I mourn the patriots who lost their lives to make it so.

My nephew, who went to Montgomery County Public Schools in Rockville, Wootton specifically, once told me "Uncle Denny - I'm so glad President Lincoln and the Democrats freed the slaves!" Yes, I set him straight, but often wonder if they teach any true government history in schools today, or is it slanted?

"Uncle Denny - I'm so glad the Democrats freed the slaves!"

When President Lincoln put forth the Emancipation Proclamation it took the troops to put it into effect. June 19th was the last date that the last state got the word out about freedom. It wasn’t even realized right here in the Montgomery County area until about that time. Lincoln lost his life in Washington DC, not far from here, because of his action and his courage.

Montgomery County Beat Down

Montgomery County suffers a beat down. *

By Lori Jaffe

Police have released a shocking video of the beat down of Montgomery County. They urge anyone with information to run, do not walk, to your nearest polling place and cast your vote to throw the alleged perpetrators out of office.

This video (14:36) shows the passage of the 2027 Operating Budget by the Montgomery County Council, with a 9-2 vote in favor. Approved was a $7.9 Billion – with a “B” -  operating budget and $6.3 billion six-year capital improvements program for the coming fiscal year. Witnesses report the use of one-time revenues for ongoing expenses, and a projected structural deficit of approximately $293 million. The victim is hospitalized and is listed in “unstable condition.”

MIDDLE EAST PEACE?

It was announced yesterday that all parties had agreed to end military actions around Iran, to reopen the waterways and bring relative peace to an area desperately in need of it. Like you, we'll all follow the next few days and weeks. The great people of Persia, Israel, Lebanon and all the middle east deserve Peace, Prosperity and Safety. This was announced on Trump's birthday.

SOON: President Trump participates in a Middle East Peace Ceremony

Do you think it will happen? Do you think Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Obama will issue a statement of support? Tell us at [email protected]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRESIDENT TRUMP!

The Montgomery County Republican Party held a birthday party in President Trump's honor on Saturday June 6. It was a great success, a packed house, a fun group, and there were many new faces. We loved the optimism of the group – ranging from young to old – and the generosity of the bidders at the auction we had to help keep the lights on. We had several speakers, including local, state and one gubernatorial candidate. We even signed birthday cards for President Trump. We are very grateful that he is our President. We send him our prayers for good health, safety, and great success. God Bless President Trump and God Bless America!

Did finally get to be a Judge but they do not make it easy.  Had to take the test again.  Hope I will be assigned to same place  as before.

David Duke or Graham Platner
You are a "tonic" in this sad county!

______________

Dennis, As you most likely know just as I do, the Devilcraps will elect whomever HATES President Trump the most and their agenda/policies are in furtherance of Obama’s “fundamental transformation” of America from a Democratic Republic into a Totalitarian Oligarchy.

Americans better wake up NOW!

Dear Bethesda Today:

I read the story by Ceoli Jacoby and Louis Peck about the Democratic Central Committee objecting to the Realtors at GCAAR announcing which MoCo Democrats to vote for, and how objectionable the Democrat leadership found it. It made me smile.

Now let me say clearly - as both the present Chairman of the Republican Central committee, and the former President of the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR) I’d be thrilled if they sent out a team of well dressed canvassers, a press release, a mailing, a Weather balloon, a TV ad, or even a TikTok video telling which MoCo Republicans to vote for. Wouldn't embarrass us at all.

That’s not only their right but their duty and I’m all for it, don’t ask permission, what’s the old Nike ad? JUST DO IT!

We have great candidates, we have a great team, and come November we'll finally have a place at the table. I KNOW IT.

Chairman
