CAGE FIGHTING DEMOCRATS

I had no idea how closely the Democrats were watching the Cage Fights in front of the White House last week. Little did I know they were in training for early voting in Montgomery County! Last week at Bohrer Park in Gaithersburg a Maryland State Delegate and County Union Boss got into an altercation, knocking over tables, cursing each other and allegedly trading blows. Although it was close to the Republican booth for once the Republicans weren’t the targets of Democrat violence (like Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump) —this time it was each other.
Here’s a video from the Republican booth captured by GOP Treasurer Brigitta Mullican. (Caution: it contains adult language and threats and intimidation)

New Ideas are Needed

Montgomery County leaders often speak about the importance of diversity in government. Yet one important form of diversity is frequently overlooked: diversity of thought. I support diversity of thoughts on the County Council: https://youtu.be/Gw4v1itWgeY
That concern came into sharp focus during a recent County Council briefing from the Charter Review Commission, where Chairman Jim Michaels presented a confusing and often disjointed argument against my proposal to broaden political representation on the Montgomery County Council. His comments raised an important question: Does our community truly value diverse perspectives, or only certain kinds of diversity?
