OBVIOUS EVERYWHERE BUT MOCO

“The minute it became clear that Harris had lost, reporters and panelists began offering explanations—explanations so obvious that you had to wonder why they hadn’t seen the loss coming. Of course they were correct: The results proved that millions of people don’t want to see an apparently endless flow of undocumented immigrants entering the country; they loathe the way DEI absolutism empowered an army of bureaucrats to mete out mysterious punishments for ridiculous offenses. They don’t want to hear anyone’s pronouns; they don’t want to be told that crime is down when they’re busy getting carjacked; and they never, ever want to watch The View again.” “These various social causes helped win Trump the election. His narrative didn’t pass most tests of logic or economic theory and yet it was constructed on a foundation of grievances that rang true to millions of Americans, and Democrats met it with no narrative at all. It was as though the party had spent a quarter century running a very large tab, and on Election Day, the whole thing finally came due.”

"NORMAL" IN MOCO

Pictured are Montgomery County Democrat Councilwoman Kristin Mink, a transvestite gentleman with the performing name of Bella Naughty who, while dressed as an adult Drag Show performer reads books at public libraries to children about transitioning their genders, and Democrat County Executive Marc Elrich.

And the majority of voters in MoCo just don't understand what happened with the rest of the electorate in the United States!

THE HUESSY REPORT

Memo to Mongomery County friends of the Republican Party from Peter Huessy, President of Geo-Strategic Analysis of Potomac, Maryland

Why did the election go the way it did? I think there were three factors. (1) The arrogance of Fauci and Collins and the lockdown lies. (2) The huge growth in human smuggling across our open southern border. (3) The horror of forcing surgeries onto minors who suffer from gender dysphoria and the related craziness of allowing men to harm women in sports and invade women’s private spaces.

These three issues are covered here. Then we give our weekly dose of California foolishness plus another chapter in the climate crisis and energy. Plus a cartoon from Michael Ramirez and a satirical look at North Korea.

WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN THANKFUL

We Republicans weren't around during the first Thanksgiving, remember we weren't founded 'til 1854 - to get rid of slavery in America. At the first Thanksgiving there were only the native immigrants who'd walked down from the north and the newly arrived European immigrants on ships from Europe. Yet they celebrated their survival together with a feast of Thanksgiving, as we still do this week.

Together we're stronger, and free-er, and more prosperous and religious and patriotic and so many positive things it boggles the mind. Of course we differ, but we also come together as a nation to thrive, argue, make up and make progress. We are America - where EVERYONE wants to be!

So in this week of Thanksgiving, on behalf of the Republican Party, I wish you Peace, Prosperity, Freedom and Joy.

God Bless America

Dennis Melby

MCGOP Chairman

Wish us a Happy Thanksgiving!  What are you thankful for? Let me know at [email protected]

Happy Thanksgiving

WAKING UP

By Lori Jaffe

We see the signs everywhere. Small signs like a knowing smile exchanged between strangers as they discuss a Trump wine to buy. Bigger signs like our local and state government leaders bracing themselves for impact. Huge signs like the announcements of presidential appointments. The signs are here and are being talked about openly in the media, which is busily analyzing election data. America is waking up - again.

This phenomenon of “revolution” or waking up and throwing off the government blanket is not new. CSPAN After Words featured KT McFarland and her book, Revolution: Trump, Washington, and “We the People.” “America has been through viciously divisive periods before, some far worse than the one we’re living through today. With the hindsight of history, we can see them as inflection points, the transitional periods between an old system that had broken down and a new one still largely in formation.” McFarland believes that we are “right in the middle” of an inflection point.

FALL 2024 MARYLAND REPUBLICAN CONVENTION

The Republican Party of Maryland held it's 2024 Fall convention last weekend. We celebrated the victories of the TRUMP/VANCE White House win and the reelection to Congress of Andy Harris, giving Maryland a returning US Congressman. Congressman Harris was also elected Chair of the House Freedom Caucus.

Our own local Party was singled out with the Samuel Chase Award for the most outstanding Republican County. We appreciate the honor and recognize the hard work that went with it.

State Party officers were also elected for 2 year terms starting in January, Chair Nicole Beus Harris, 1st Vice Chair Richard Osborne, 2nd Vice Chair Kathleen Smero, 3rd Vice Chair Richard Collins, Secretary Mark Uncapher and Treasurer Chris Rosenthal. Congratulations to them all.

GOVERNOR'S CITATION

MCGOP Vice Chair Stacey Sauter, Committee Member Josephine Salazar and Chairman Dennis Melby

Maryland Governor Wes Moore issued a citation to Josephine Salazar commemorating her election as a Trump Delegate to the 2024 Republican Convention this summer, where she helped to elected Donald Trump as our 2024 candidate. He'll take the oath as the 47th President January 20 in Washington, D.C.

Who will the US Congress choose as speaker?

The Huessy Report

Dear Montgomery County Republicans: This week's report has some items on how Trump did better with middle class working voters than those making more than $100,000. Also new data out shows Trump dramatically improved the income of middle America in his first administration.

I also know many of you are worried about the growing crises around the world and our nation’s security. I wrote a new essay for my weekly nuclear report that addresses many of these security issues. Its relatively long but worth reading for insights into what a Trumpian foreign policy would look like. For your mental stability, do not read the Post and please do not watch the network television news. Best, Peter Huessy

The folks on the Democrat Party fringe are still looney!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is pointing the finger at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee for Democrats’ Election Day losses — setting off a firestorm from critics who say she’d rather blame Jews that second-guess her own left-wing policies.“ If people want to talk about members of Congress being overly influenced by a special interest group pushing a wildly unpopular agenda that pushes voters away from Democrats then they should be discussing AIPAC,” the Squad member posted on X.
