Jeff Brown has lived in Montgomery County since 1955. He attended school in the County until he graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.A. in American History and a minor in Criminology. He has worked as a sales representative, commercial remodeler, and professional wall-covering installer before starting his own business. He has recently retired.
During his career as a business owner, he completed such projects as Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon, Professional Video Services, Danish Broadcasting, Australian Broadcasting, and Jordan Kitts retail outlets. Jeff has also completed soundproofing of translation booths at the State Department. Jeff and several other professional wall-paper installers started the Washington, DC Chapter of the National Guild of Professional Paper-hangers. Jeff has Chaired and worked on several Golden Deed projects which include installing cheerful borders and wallpaper at Ronald McDonald House, Children's Inn at NIH, and Grandma's House.
Jeff has served on Central Committee in District 39. After re-districting, Jeff serves in District 19. He has served as a poll watcher in Montgomery Village and has received voter registration training. He has worked Election Day poll for several years and served as Precinct Chair in District 39.
Jeff currently serves as Facilities Manager of Republican Headquarters. He also serves on the Second Amendment Committee. Recently, he spoke to Leisure World Republican Club about transportation issues in the County. Jeff looks forward to working with club and event teams in the future. Jeff resides in Gaithersburg with his lovely wife of 30 years, Mary.
