THE IMPORTANCE OF DADS
THE IMPORTANCE AND IMPACT OF DADS
By Edward E. Bartlett, PhD

The United States has the highest rate of fatherlessness of any country in the world. Out of the 73 million children in the U.S., 23% are without a father in the home. This crisis has harmful, far-reaching effects on a broad range of social indicators such as academic achievement, drug abuse, mental health, and crime.
Our epidemic of father absence didn’t happen by accident. For years, Leftists have pushed for a broad range of measures designed to stereotype, marginalize, and remove fathers from their families. Take domestic violence, for instance. The Centers for Disease Control reports that women are more likely to be perpetrators of domestic violence than men. But Leftists push for policies that have created a false stereotype of “abusive fathers.” READ THE STUDY HERE>
Fathers are the backbone of our communities. Without a dad, you don’t have a family. Without a family, you don’t have a society.

BACK THE BLUE SEASON 2023

Honoring the Montgomery County Police
Thank you to everyone for making this year’s Back the Blue “lunch hour” events the success that they were. The Republican Women’s Clubs, and its partners (please see the list below) provided and delivered lunch to all six Montgomery County Police Department’s Precincts in the last few months. For the first time, we also added the Montgomery County Dispatchers to our growing list of lunch recipients! Our Club’s Caring for America Committee’s Back the Blue mission has been accomplished!
Our Officers all seem to love pizzas, pinwheels and anything from Chic-Fil-A. Also on their list of likes were the tables full of very generous donations from individuals and the community.

Maryland House Republicans Urge Federal Delegation to Call for Moratorium on Offshore Wind Development
Annapolis, Md – Citing both environmental and national security concerns, the Maryland House Republican Caucus today sent a letter to Maryland’s Federal Delegation urging them to call for a moratorium on offshore wind development until the completion of an investigation by the Government Accountability Office (GA0). The letter references scientific data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, as well as information from the United States Department of Defense. A copy of the letter was also sent to Governor Wes Moore.

Your Feedback Makes a Difference

..."While I don't ALWAYS agree with AARP"...
So you think your opinions and feedback don't get back to the leadership? It does. Many folks think the American Association of Retired Persons, the AARP, is a far-left organization - but they're also a money maker. It's finally come to their attention that retiring folks have other options, and their membership is declining. YOUR FEEDBACK COUNTS. When WOKE non-profits see their membership shrinking their highly paid staff takes notice. Hopefully they'll moderate their political stances and go back to what they say they are...and advocate for ALL retired persons.

STANDING UP FOR THE KIDS!
People of faith, people of color, concerned Parents, Hispanic advocates, Moms for Liberty, concerned teachers, Democrats, Independents and Republicans - they're all being slurred, degraded and shamed by the Montgomery County Board of Education for their respectful request to have their kids "opt-out" of sexually explicit and gender bending material taught to K thru 5th grade students in Montgomery County taxpayer supported, union run, public schools.
While the seven Democratic women who run the Board of Education refuse to listen, while Members of the all-Democrat Montgomery County Council denigrate the protestors, and while the national media pays attention, the Parents and Supporters are standing up for their kids. Ask Terry McAuliffe if it's a good idea to make Moms mad, and ignore their concerns for their children.

SMEARS AREN'T GOING TO SILENCE PARENTS
Watch the video of parents and religious leaders pleading to stop the hatred and let the kids be kids, follow the Maryland Public School policy of opting out, and ask the public officials to listen to them and treat them with some respect.

Support these religious leaders, parents and community leaders at the next public demonstration on July 20.

Committee for Better Government
The “Committee for Better Government” was formed to limit the number of consecutive four-year terms that the Montgomery County Executive may hold. Currently, the County Executive can have three consecutive terms before he/she is term limited. The purpose of this ballot petition is to secure enough signatures to get the question on the ballot for the 2024 election.
We want to ensure no Montgomery County Executive serves more terms than the US President or the Maryland Governor. If it's good enough for Reagan, Obama, and Hogan, isn’t it good enough for our County? The two four-year term limit is consistent throughout most of the counties in Maryland.
