They're Raising Taxes - Again!
By Dennis Brent Melby
They’re raising taxes…again!
When times are good, employment is strong, wages are comfortable and inflation is low - Democrats raise
taxes.
- “It’s a good time” they say, “Folks can afford it and we have a need to help others” they say.
When times are bad, if government employees are laid off, inflation is at Biden levels- Democrats raise taxes.
- “There’s a real need!” they say, “So many folks need help, and we’ll only tax the well-off folks (who can afford to move).” We’ll make it progressive.
Tax and spend, tax and spend, and tax some more!
- Tax your home
- Tax your electricity
- Tax your energy
- Tax your property
- Tax your income
- ...make plastic bags illegal and then tax paper bags
- Yes, they once even tried to tax the rain!
Maybe there’s another way. Maybe others have better ideas. If there are fewer kids going to school maybe we don’t need as many teachers, and high paid administrators, and support staff, and lawyers to defend the Board of Education from stupid decisions. Maybe cut School Resource Officers…no wait…they've already done that on anti-cop grounds, not to help the budget.
DON'T VOLUNTEER? - CAN'T COMPLAIN ABOUT EQUALITY
Only about 10% of the Republican Judges we need have signed up. I can't complain they don't have Republican representatives when Republicans don't volunteer to serve. I need you, the Party needs you, the free and fair election process needs you. We need you now. Become a Republican paid volunteer here.

Sully Says...

Do any candidates have an original thought?

This political season has brought no shortage of national talking points into state and local races. Some of those issues matter deeply to voters. But in local government, candidates should be judged first on the responsibilities of the offices they seek, and on the problems they have the power to address.
A “red herring” is an argument or claim that distracts from the central issue. In Montgomery County, the central issue should be whether local leaders have managed the County effectively and whether candidates are offering realistic solutions to the challenges directly within their authority.

Dennis Melby, ABOUT WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT WHAT YOU ON MONTGOMERY COUNTY
YOU ARE 100% RIGHT AND IT IS A SHAME THAT SOME OF THESE DEMOCRATS CAN'T TELL RIGHT FROM WRONG AND CORRECT THE
PROBLEMS THEY HAVE LET THEIR LEADERS CREATE. DON'T WORRY I AM NOT LEAVING MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND SOONER THAN LATER
THE DEMOCRATS WILL FALL OUT OF FAVOR.

Well, you never know do you? Just got this in my email box. It's from Donald Trump. I think he likes what we do, and how our voters and candidates are working to make MoCo great. I guess it's The Trump Minute!
Oh, and he wants all of us to come to the Trump Birthday Bash. After all, you're only 80 once. Let's see how many folks can sign his card, get a picture with his stand-in, help blow out the candles and wish him well. Check it out HERE. And Thank You Mr. President!
