Tulsi Gabbard leaves Democrats

Former Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard Leaves the Democratic Party

Former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard announced she is leaving the party Tuesday — blasting the political organization as an “an elitist cabal” driven by “cowardly wokeness.”

”I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism, actively work to undermine our God-given freedoms that are enshrined in our Constitution,” the Hawaii congresswoman said in a searing video posted on Twitter.

She condemned the progressive party for being “hostile to people of faith and spirituality” while demonizing the police and protecting criminals “at the expense of law-abiding Americans.”

Council Double Standards

Montgomery County Executive candidate Reardon "Sully" Sullivan comments on the County Council's Double Standards

"Zoned" Out on Booze?

Is There a Double Standard for Political Appointees?

Gaithersburg, Md: Casey Anderson, the Chair of both the M-NCPPC and the Montgomery County Planning Board since 2014, was recently discovered to have a well-stocked liquor cabinet in his Wheaton office in clear violation of County policy. Reardon Sullivan, Candidate for County Executive stated, “I’m not surprised. Our County government has been a well-guarded club of privileged insiders, operating without checks and balances for the past two decades.”

Anderson’s leadership of the Planning Board and the Board’s decisions impact development and transit throughout the County. “It makes you wonder if any decisions were made under the influence of alcohol and how many unregistered lobbyists or others who partook of Chair Anderson’s liquid gifts?” charged Sullivan. “The leadership of the County should NOT have one rule for political appointees and lobbyists – maintaining a blind eye for boozing it up on the job, while holding County workers to a different standard,” stated Sullivan.

Spotlight on Stacey Sauter

Meet Stacey Sauter

I’m running to serve because I love the state of Maryland and have deep concerns about our future under the current Democrat-controlled legislature. I’m a proud, native Marylander who attended our public schools and Montgomery College before receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in 1981. I’m a fifth-generation native of Montgomery County where my father proudly served as a police officer for nearly 30 years. Today I’m a successful businesswoman and a published author. My background includes a Masters’ Degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a second Masters’ Degree in Public Management from the University of Maryland (with honors, 2022). In addition to working as a TV reporter, I’ve held various executive positions with the GOP on local, state, and national levels.

Montgomery County was once synonymous with success. It strove for and achieved excellence in nearly every conceivable area of public and business concern. But now, our formerly top-notch schools are really suffering and only 41% of our state’s third-graders test proficient in reading and math. Montgomery County Police -- always considered to be among the finest in the land -- has been hit hard by the defund the police movement. Our homicide rate is about double what it was last year. We’re losing teachers and sworn officers by the droves, which makes literacy and security two major issues right now.

2022 Red White and Blue

Maryland GOP Red White & Blue Dinner College Park

Brigitta Mullican, MCGOP Treasurer, and Main Speaker Kellyanne Conway

Former US Senate candidate Lorie Friend, MCGOP Vice Chair Dennis Melby and Montgomery County Executive candidate Reardon "Sully" Sullivan
Last Thursday night in College Park across from the University of Maryland the State Party GOP held their annual Red White and Blue Dinner featuring Congressmen, Delegates and State Senators, elected officials and our Republican candidates. The special guest speaker was the popular former head of President Trumps campaign, Kellyanne Conway, the first woman to ever head a successful Presidential campaign.
Her message was - the people are on our side, and we'll see a dramatic change in the Congress with the midterms. Great candidates will be able to fix a lot of the problems of the past two years, but we need to get out and vote.

MEET CHERYL RILEY

Nominee For Montgomery County Council, District 4

I was born in Washington, DC where my Great Grandparents immigrated legally to begin to live the American Dream, whereby they worked hard, never gave up even through adversity, they became stronger and LOVED this AMAZING Country. My father and his six siblings were raised in Kensington and loved MoCo where they stayed to raise families as it was a great county that offered a wonderful life. I grew up in Germantown, which was the best place on earth to me and an area I would always consider home.

I attended Montgomery College and the University of Maryland College Park. I am a seasoned Public Relations professional (Founder of CRPR) who has worked with some of the nations/world’s largest law-firms, corporations and non-profits who have sought my expertise to help develop solutions to build growth. I specialize in success-driven, public relations strategies to enhance market-share, improve brand awareness and the development of overall cohesive plans to generate business growth and successful crisis management protocols.

Like my career, my desire to run for council was born out of passion to help create pro-active, viable solutions to the major problems our county faces after 20 years of the same leadership failures. I am fiercely passionate about Montgomery County, as it is where I grew up, reside and want to stay for many years to come. I am one of you….a “resident” who wants to thrive, who rents as housing costs are too high, who pays endless taxes and who is concerned with the rise in crime daily

I pledge to listen to my constituents and work for you, and uphold the very motto our County was founded upon Gardez Bien, "Guard Well". As one of you, I will be the People's advocate, a supporter, and a friend ready to speak up and make positive changes for the betterment of all. I hope you'll join me on my mission to bring MoCo back to life!

DP Patti Earns UARE Endorsement

When my wife and I were married almost 27 years ago, our marriage was still illegal in two states. We were a mixed-race couple for 27 years until her death in May 2022.

On the day of our marriage, I was confident we’d have race relations figured out as a country by the time my kids reached adulthood. But we haven’t. My son is now 21 and, truth is, the situation – at least the perception of the situation – is MUCH worse than I would have imagined.

And concepts like Critical Race Theory (CRT) are much of the cause.

Which is why I’m proud to have the endorsement of UARE – United Against Racism in Education.

Biden Rally Report

I Attended Biden's "I HATE REPUBLICANS" Rally

By Brigitta Mullican

It was August 25, 2022, when I attended the President Joe Biden Rally in Rockville.  I received an earlier email about this rally. I registered to attend. the rally because as an alumnus of Richard Montgomery High School I was very curious about what would be said.  The Democratic National Committee (DNC) rented the high school for the event and being the open-minded Republican that I am, I decided to attend.  I wanted to hear how the President planned to unite the country

During his speech, President Biden referred to me and other Republicans as “MAGA” (Make America Great Again) Republicans” in an offhanded derogatory way.  The President discussed his party and their “values,” and how MAGA Republicans don’t share those values.  I have noticed that he and others in the Democratic leadership often will talk about the “will of the people,” and the importance of the Constitution.  Their actions shows something else.
