The Huessy Report
Memo for Our Montgomery County and Maryland Citizens, Prepared by Peter Huessy, President of Geo-Strategic Analysis of Potomac, Maryland

My report this week concentrates on two issues which the Democratic Party has seized upon to raise havoc with our economy and our children.
First, there is no climate crisis and storms such as hurricanes and tornadoes are NOT getting worse. In fact the number of severe storms is actually declining. The connection is of course trying to eliminate fossil fuels. One recent GAO report has determined the administration has unlawfully attempted to ban natural gas exports while covering up internal US government studies that show no environmental benefit from implementing such a ban, but in fact a net environmental insult from using other fuels then natural gas. An excellent review of energy policy is also included in this report. Do you know young women in the world walk 200 million hours a day to get water (placed in buckets and jugs on their heads) and lack he energy to pump the water to their homes. And 500,000 poor people die each year because they lack access to clean water brought about my massive energy poverty which killing fossil fuels will make worse.
The second issue is transgender care. I provide folks here a lengthy report from the Heritage Foundation where internal reports from the industry that is profiting from what is falsely termed “gender affirming care” acknowledges the care is experimental and without any scientific basis for it being pushed onto children. In fact, a recent major study determined that 88-98% of those suffering from gender dysphoria naturally overcome the condition by the time they leave their teens.

MCGOP VOTERS GUIDE
Did you vote yet?
We need to make sure it's a free and fair election and all votes get in and are counted. Some stats show that about 60% of Democrats vote early and that around 10% of Republicans do the same. Our State, like so many others, has set it up so that mail-in and early voting are encouraged. And you know what? The Democrats win that way and it continues single party government - not good for any area in the long run.

I know you want to go, meet your neighbors, make sure the system works, see and mark your ballot and put it in the box (er scan it into the machine as it were). But we encourage you to vote now. If you've made up you mind there's no reason to wait, and from the President to the local Central Committee we want your vote cast now. What if it rains on elections day, or snows, or is icy, or you're too sick? Stuff happens, don't be sorry the day after that you didn't get to vote.
If you need to get a mail-in ballot click here. If you want to know where the early voting sites are click here. If you want to volunteer to go door to door click here. And if you need to know our voting suggestions click here.
Thanks for taking our rights so seriously. I'm with you on that.
And thanks for being a great American.

TROUBLE IN PARADISE

By Lori Jaffe
The MoCo Democrats have long acted as though they have the solution to all our problems. If we would only listen to them, we would have heaven on earth. For the most part, it’s all about taxing us and then spending our money to support their far-left ideas. But now they are fighting among themselves. The Attainable Housing Strategies Initiative is essentially the Planning Board and Council’s attempt to put MoCo into compliance with the United Nation’s 15-Minute City concept. Recently Council President Andrew Friedson got an earful from the mostly Democrat constituents during the Attainable Housing listening sessions. Fighting for his political life after decades of failed policies, County Executive Marc Elrich has come out against the initiative.
You can make your voice heard. Vote For Question A, to hold Elrich to two terms. While we have their attention, email the Planning, Housing and Parks Committee to register your opposition to the initiative (see below) and sign the petition. (Note that a financial contribution is NOT required - you can X out of the solicitation, and your signature will still be recognized.)

THE HUESSY REPORT
Memo for Our Montgomery County and Maryland Citizens, Prepared by Peter Huessy, President of Geo-Strategic Analysis of Potomac, Maryland

There are three big issues here. First, Berkeley wakes up and decides that the homeless are a serious problem. Second, the head of the Heritage Foundation lays out why the energy/climate crisis is going to cause widespread energy poverty and serious economic hardship if continued. And third, the House Budget Committee has passed and sent to the House a number of balanced budget plans as well as getting approved by Congress and "help[ed] lead the debt ceiling negotiations, which yielded the biggest discretionary spending cuts in 10 years.”

We have talked about how much we hate the proliferation of mail-in ballots and how we fear that this expanding use invites fraud. But perhaps we need to take the next step and examine how exactly this opportunity for fraud exists and why our own use of a mail-in ballot does not increase the risk of fraud but in fact might reduce that risk.

President, UARE.US
I feel I need to voice my recommendation when making your selections for the board of education candidates. There's no question about District 2 - Brenda Diaz, our endorsed candidate, is a shining star. As a 20+ year educator, working inside the system, she is well aware of the causes of our spiraling downward school system. Her platform focuses on academic excellence for all students, prioritizing safety and parental involvement.
