BACK THE BLUE SEASON  2023

Honoring the Montgomery County Police

Thank you to everyone for making this year’s Back the Blue “lunch hour” events the success that they were.  The Republican Women’s Clubs, and its partners (please see the list below) provided and delivered lunch to all six Montgomery County Police Department’s Precincts in the last few months. For the first time, we also added the Montgomery County Dispatchers to our growing list of lunch recipients!  Our Club’s Caring for America Committee’s Back the Blue mission has been accomplished!

Our Officers all seem to love pizzas, pinwheels and anything from Chic-Fil-A.  Also on their list of likes were the tables full of very generous donations from individuals and the community.

Showing appreciation and support to our Police Officers requires total community involvement.  As does working with (or against) our elected official’s policies.  We can do this by tracking legislation that affects the police and the community’s safety.  

And to you all:  The Back the Blue partners thank you for working these lunch events into your schedules.  You are making a difference.  We have a few more things in the works, on a smaller scale, this season.  We will provide updates as logistics finalize.
