Dear Fellow Republican
I am Dwight Patel, candidate for State Senate in District 20, which covers the Silver Spring, Takoma Park and White Oak areas of Montgomery County. I am sure that like myself, you are tired of the lack of action by our current state Senator Will Smith, who has done nothing but oppose Governor Hogan’s agenda.
During the past four years, Governor Hogan has worked hard to make life better for us as follows:
- Cut taxes and fees for Marylanders, saving us close to $1.2 billion in taxes
- Created 100,000 new jobs in Maryland
- Increased spending for public schools
- Launched free community college for Maryland residents
Governor Hogan also wants to improve our quality of life as follows:
- Address transportation issues by widening the beltway and I-270
- Increase tax relief for Marylanders
- Put revenue from casino gambling into a lock box for education
Meanwhile, Sen. Will Smith and the Democrats have been ardent opponents of Governor Hogan’s initiatives to change Maryland for the better.
Sen. Will Smith is a Ben Jealous Democrat, which means he is a tax, tax, tax and spend, spend, spend Democrat. Sen. Smith also supports Ben Jealous’s radical single payer health care system and his sanctuary state policies.
Mark my words:
Sen. Will Smith and Ben Jealous are wrong for you and your family, and the wrong choice for Maryland!
On November 6, 2018 Vote Team Hogan!
Governor Hogan has shown what leadership looks like, so let’s give him four more years to fix transportation.
Support the Hogan Republicans who will continue the work of changing Maryland for the better.
