FREDERICK, MD – Republican candidate for Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, Dr. Mariela Roca, has been officially endorsed by former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich. Speaker Gingrich visited the district last October and hosted a fundraising event in support of Dr. Roca. Today, our campaign is proud and honored to receive this endorsement from Speaker Gingrich, who with his “Contract with America” led the Republican Party to victory in 1994 by capturing the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives for the first time in forty years.
