"I'VE NEVER SEEN THIS MANY REPUBLICANS IN ONE PLACE"
Republican volunteers took training on Saturday so they could register people to vote in Maryland. The training was conducted by Dr. Gilberto Zelaya of the Board of Elections at their Headquarters in Gaithersburg. "I've got to take a selfie!" said Zelaya, "I've never seen this many Republicans in one place!"
Yes, we know he was kidding us but we have to step up our game to fill all our available positions during the upcoming primary and general elections in 2024. If there aren't enough Republican workers, it means only Democrats and Unaffiliated workers will work the election. If you can volunteer to be a Board of Elections worker, contact us at [email protected] We'll give you the contact information.

REPUBLICANS IN ROCKVILLE !!!

Did you volunteer to reach out to our neighbors in Rockville at Hometown Holidays? It was a great two days during the Memorial Day weekend, music, food and socializing. Yep, and interest in our family values, lower taxes, support for children and term limits on tax-raising politicians. Thanks for our volunteers and supporters!
STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER !!!

Did you volunteer to greet the strawberry pickers in Sandy Spring at the Strawberry Festival? It was a great two days to benefit the Sandy Spring Museum with fun and community spirit. We celebrated the Up-County and gave out information and encouragement to folks who felt they weren't part of the Silver Spring majority.

PARENTS FROM FAMILIES OF FAITH STAND UP IN MOCO
By Chris Hyser
“We will not allow the MCPS Board of Education to strip us of our rights to religious freedom, we will be the voice of every child in the county and work until we restore the opt-out option.”
As of fall 2023, parents will no longer be allowed to opt their children out of reading books that MCPS schools have added to their curriculum.
In 2022, a collection of LQBTQ illustrated chapter books was added to the MCPS curriculum. As of 2023, these books had started to be introduced to students from kindergarten all the way up to eighth grade through group reading sessions and discussions, primarily in English classes.
Until May 1st of 2023, MCPS had allowed students to opt out of the readings. If the parents had opted the child out, they would not participate in the group readings and would be given alternative instruction.
