According to internal emails obtained by the nonprofit legal group Center for American Liberty, the district’s student services administrative director, Sarah Coley, instructs her colleagues to share a child’s transgender status with the parents only if the child permits it. “The gender support plan helps the transitioning student know the options and to designate the preference to the school administration, but it is not required for a student to have one,” Coley said in an Aug. 7, 2022, email in response to a question from a local parent. “It is encouraged to have parents part of the process, but under the law, it is not required.”

On Saturday, the Upper Montgomery Woman’s Republican Club ( UMRWC ) in conjunction with the MCGOP sponsored an informative, hands-on training on political phone banking, Phone Banking 101. Common sense conservative Board of Education candidate Jaime Brennan needs your help competing with the teacher's union well-funded, very liberal candidates.  The union candidates all support unfair sports for women, allowing boys into girls changing areas, underfunding charter schools so that they are forced to close, and have no plan to address the nearly 70% graduation test failure rate, despite nearly $1 billion in annual school spending.

This year marks the 75^th Jubilee for the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair which continues to bring in crowds primarily from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. Though opening day was cancelled due to heavy storms and the closing day was briefly disrupted with thunderstorms, fair goers of all ages did not seem to mind and still came to enjoy fun and food.

Great meeting last week at the Mid-County Muster La Mex hosted by Greg Decker. Deborah Brocato of Health Not Harm was the guest speaker regarding the fake MD Constitutional Amendment Question 1 on the November ballot.

Visit us at the Fair, have breakfast with us in Park Potomac, volunteer and have pizza with us in Rockville, visit Larry Hogan's office in Bethesda, get dinner and discussion with us in Gaithersburg or Wheaton, canvas for votes for Parrott and Riley. Hogan and Trump, learn how to phone-bank in Derwood,  ...and that's just one week!

We're the MoCo Republicans, we have to work harder, and we do!

Yep, we're working and summering. If you're at the beach this week enjoy. School's starting soon, voting starts in September and goes all the way to November. Get a Republican sign and put it up. Buy tickets and support people when you can, and we'll have a sample ballot for you in September.
