THIS COULD BE BUILT NEXT TO YOUR HOME AND YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO STOP IT

PLEASE JOIN OUR LIVE PROTEST at Massachusetts Ave. and Jamestown Rd.

This bill will allow developers to replace single family homes with duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes, and “small” apartment buildings up to 40 feet tall, like in the picture, starting on Massachusetts Ave. but allowed to reach into the neighborhood by joining adjacent lots.[1]

MoCo's Own Win Supreme Court Case vs MCPS in LGBTQ/Pride Hearing

Dennis Melby Reports

On June 25, 2025 reporter Matthew Foldi, Montgomery County and Bethany Mandel, MCPS Board Member Candidate in 2026, settled a lawsuit they filed against the Montgomery County Public Schools System for violating their First Amendment rights. A ruling from the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland that found MCPS’s “Staff Pride” affinity group may have violated their First Amendment rights by denying them the right to attend and report on a meeting that was being held by MCPS. Their lawsuit was filed by America First Legal on their behalf. Judge Paula Xinis, an Obama appointee, ruled in their favor.

Parents' Rights Prevail

With the release of Friday's Supreme Court decision to support parents' rights to determine what their children learn in public school, sanity is brought back to Montgomery County schools. The Supreme Court’s ruling to allow parents to opt their children out of mandatory classes that violate their religious beliefs came after a long-fought battle by Muslim, Catholic, and Orthodox parents, civic organizations, UARE, and the Montgomery County Republican Party.

In a remarkable decision, the conservative and moderate judges decided that parents in Montgomery County have the right to opt out of classes they feel are harmful to the children. MoCo Public Schools, led by the noise of the left, were teaching young children about sexual encounters and techniques, with pictures and descriptions of situations in books far more appropriate for adults. The parents didn’t ask MCPS to remove the objectionable content, they simply asked MCPS to allow them to opt their elementary-aged children out of the lessons.

The Supreme Court got it right.

Another "No Kings" Protest

Yes, they're planning another one for the 4th of July. Get your gear at MCGOP and be proud of the flag, our democratically elected President, and the fact that July 4 is really the day we overthrew "The King."

The Unappreciated “Daddy”

By Lori Jaffe

“When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years.” ― Mark Twain

Last week, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, called President Trump “Daddy.” He had it right. Even the White House embraced it. Trump has been taking care of business, cleaning up the mess left by his predecessor since he came back in office in January. But most of the “loyal opposition” have been reacting like unhappy teenagers, constantly seeking attention and the approval of their peers. Our very own “representative” Jamie Raskin is one of those unhappy souls. It’s embarrassing.
