Questions Surrounding Voter Integrity?
In a lawsuit I and others filed on Friday, we allege that Montgomery County has more registered voters than actual residents.

Just days earlier, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) filed a federal lawsuit against the Maryland State Board of Elections and its administrator, stating that the state failed to provide the full, unredacted voter-registration list required under federal law.
This follows another case brought by Restoring Integrity and Trust in Elections (RITE), which challenged a Maryland regulation that prevented citizens from using voter-registration data to identify possible inaccuracies such as duplicate or deceased voters. A federal court ruled that Maryland’s restriction violated federal law.
Have you personally encountered issues related to voter integrity?
Mail-in ballots sent to your house for people who don’t live at your address?
Being told at the polling place that you’ve already voted and must cast a provisional ballot? If so, we want to hear from you.

Melby Minute - Be Very Afraid
BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID
By Dennis Brent Melby
Our elected officials say “The Republicans are coming to get you – but WE’LL PROTECT YOU. Be afraid…be very afraid!”
Yep, fear is a powerful weapon, and the one-party government here is putting teeth in the fear hoax as they sell it to the public.

Who are the monsters? The elected government in Washington, of course. Why run on local issues when the far-left media will help you to carry on a war of fear. Raise taxes, close streets, let the schools founder but tell folks, ”the government is coming for you, for black and brown people, for folks who speak Spanish, for literally anyone with an accent.” That’s the narrative and the left eat it up.
Just recently they’ve decided that the County Council's leaf blower ban is racist because they think most maintenance staffers are Hispanic (or Lantinx as they deridedly call them). So they modified the ban so the neighbors who they charged with turning in these hard workers could not snap pictures of the “offenders” so that the government couldn’t comb through the records and arrest the one’s who looked Hispanic. I’m not making this up.
But they go further! What else to make folks fearful?

Happy Holidays - Welcome Delegate Szeliga
On December 10, from 2-4 pm, in the Chesapeake Room, CH1, the Republican Club will host a Holiday Luncheon. Everyone is welcome to join us for a delicious hot buffet, as well as being educated and inspired by our speaker, Delegate Kathy Szeliga, from eastern Baltimore County.
She has served in the MD House of Delegates for 15 years and is currently a member of many important committees. She is a founding member of the MD Freedom Caucus, where she is now Vice Chair.
Delegate Szeliga will be prepared to discuss election integrity and the successes of the Freedom Caucus. She strongly advocates for individual liberty, fiscal responsibility, and accountability. Unfortunately, the deadline has past to put in our numbers to Sodexo for the buffet. However, if you still want to come, please email Maria Dudish [email protected] by the COB 12/6/2025 and I will see if we can add you to the list. From all members of the RCLW, we hope everyone had a beautiful Thanksgiving.

Montgomery County’s Transparency Problem
The Montgomery County Council has once again demonstrated a troubling disregard for transparency and public engagement, this time in the process of filling the remainder of Councilmember Gabe Albornoz’s term. Despite receiving 67 applications, the Council has offered residents virtually no insight into how those candidates were evaluated or why only three were ultimately selected for public consideration. I find this suspicious.

A Happy Holiday Menu for You

A number of you have asked for a holiday menu for the politically inclined. Here, with apologies to Julia Childs, are some suggestions. Enjoy your holidays!

Jawan-dough Soup – This soup is named for Will Jawando, who may have used federal campaign money to benefit his County Executive campaign. This spicy soup has a distinctive smoky flavor, because where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
