Folks have started voting, the County is mailing out their first batches of ballots now. In our republic its so important to make your voice heard, and your vote count, and we'll do that. Our parties watch each other - Trust but Verify is a quote from President Reagan - rephrased from the Russian. It served him well and serves us well.
So check out our voters guide, sign up for a mail in ballot, chat politely with your family, neighbors and friends, and make your voice heard. In a democracy we choose our leaders - they're not chosen for us by the Party or the Junta. Chose wisely and make your wishes known.
We'll all work hard to have a free and fair election, it's going on now.

Last week we were distributing flyers when we happened upon a young man. When we asked if he voted in Montgomery County, he said, “I don’t vote at all.” He looked like he preferred to be left alone so we moved along. But we thought it would be useful to remind you of some very close elections. Your vote really does matter.

LARRY HOGAN AT LEISURE WORLD EVENT
A huge crowd gathered last Thursday to hear former Governor Larry Hogan at an event in Leisure World in Silver Spring. The event, sponsored by the Republican Club of Leisure World featured Hogan, Joel Krystal of the Club and Dennis Melby, Chairman of the MoCo Republican Party.

A bipartisan crowd filled the ballroom in Clubhouse 1 at Leisure World for the event.
Postcards for Trump in Chevy Chase
The Tea Party movement is sponsoring postcards to be sent to voters in swing states asking for support for Donald Trump for President. Chevy Chase Women's Republican Club members joined in the effort.
