Enough is Enough 2T
We are all concerned with where our Country and County is headed.
All throughout our great Country basic conservative ideals and beliefs are under attack.
WOKEISM is running un-checked and that is nowhere more evident that right here in Montgomery County.
Our career politicians are focusing on such inane things as banning gas-powered leaf blowers, spending $80 million for bike lanes, and drag queen story hour for toddlers …. While defunding the police and providing us with constant unchecked tax increases to fund their social utopia.
We are seeing our once-amazing school systems in Montgomery County erode to the point that we no longer have any schools in the top 100 nationwide.
This is NOT the Montgomery County that I grew up in.
Enough is enough!!!

THERE'S NO DOUBT WHERE WE STAND REGARDING HAMAS
First off, there is no doubt where the MCGOP stands on the Israeli / Hamas issue. Silence is not acceptable and we have been very clear.
- The day after the massacre of the Israelis by Hamas terrorists we led our newsletter to 20,000 people with a quote by Speaker Candidate Jim Jordan. It said the following:
- “The unprovoked terror attack today and the murders of innocent Israeli citizens are a stark reminder of the brutality of Hamas and Iran-backed extremists. The indiscriminate killings of men, women, and children are sickening.
“We must pray for Israel, its leadership, the men and women serving in its defense, and all Israelis today. It is heartening that Congress has come together in a bipartisan manner to strongly condemn the horrendous attacks on Israel and the Israeli citizens.
“We must continue to support our great ally as it expels this invasion, overwhelms these extremists, and works to prevent Hamas from ever harming Israeli citizens again.” - On Tuesday of that week we opened our Republican Breakfast at Attman’s Jewish Deli with a moment of silence for the victims of Hamas. US Senate candidate, John Tiechert, and Congressional candidate and chaplain Chris Hyser joined in.
- The following Monday we sent our newsletter again listing the organizations to which our readers, Republicans, Independents, and even Democrats, could send donations to help the Israeli victims of the massacre.
- We led that newsletter with a column prompted by the massacre written by former State Delegate candidate, Stacey Sauter, pleading with people to renounce hatred and outlining how to do that.
- We also included a column criticizing the Montgomery County Public Schools for not forcefully condemning the surge in Anti-Semitism in the county schools. We received major positive feedback from our Party members.
- We also published a piece by a Jewish Democrat County Council Member urging the public to not quietly sit by while people spew hatred of Jews.
- Finally, at our Lincoln Day Dinner Thursday night we again opened the evening with a moment of silence for the Jewish victims of the Hamas massacre. It was attended by over 120 people, including the leadership of the State Republican Party, a former White House Chief of Staff and sitting Republican Congressman Andy Harris.
There can be no doubt where our Party stands on the terror attacks by Hamas.

I ask you to have the strength and the courage to stand with me to make a change and right this ship.
Here in Montgomery County, we have a non-partisan group called the Committee for Better Government that is circulating a petition to limit the County Executive to two terms.
After all, the President has two terms, the Governor has two terms… shouldn’t our County Executive also be limited to two terms?
I am asking you to support this petition effort. If you are a Montgomery County voter, please email us HERE and tell us how to reach you. We’d like to add your name to the over 4,000 County residents that have already signed in support of this change.
Together we can make a difference.

Maryland Celebrates Emancipation Day

Maryland was never fully controlled by Republicans, but we were able to abolish slavery here after the Republican President, Abraham Lincoln, abolished it in most of the country with the Emancipation Proclamation - which didn't apply to Maryland. The vote was for a new Maryland Constitution that included abolishing slavery, and it hinged on the votes of our men fighting for the Union in the Civil War. Remember back then it was only white men voting. It passed after their votes cast on the battlefield were counted.
Take time Wednesday to remember Maryland Emancipation Day!
